Volume 20: Bet the Most Specific Thing on the Board
Precision Pays Better Than Simplicity

VOLUME [X]: BET THE MOST SPECIFIC THING ON THE BOARD
Sub-title: Precision Pays Better Than Ease
The Setup
Most bettors settle for the closest thing the market wants to hand them.
A moneyline when they have a more specific read. A method of victory line when they know the fight doesn’t get decided in the early rounds. A standard -7 spread when they have a line on how a coach behaves at 21 points up.
This is expensive. You watched the tape. You know the fighter’s gas tank. You know the coach plays aggressive when he’s winning big. Why settle for the price of someone who hasn’t done any of that?
The whole point of doing the research is to get paid for the specific read, not the generic outcome. If you can articulate how something plays out (not just who wins) there’s almost always a market priced for the specific outcome. Most bettors never look for it.
